Spreading the Goodness
The Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, a non-profit organization, has begun an international campaign to raise money for children orphaned by the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, in November of 2008. Mahendra Mehta, founder of the humanitarian foundation shares: "The recent dastardly terrorist attack on some of the most prominent landmarks in my hometown of Mumbai has left a trail of dead and injured by the hundreds. Many of the causalities are the unfortunate, poor and lower class citizens who are soon forgotten after the rush of condolences and sorrow." Although this is a very difficult time for those who have lost their lives and loved ones, with the support of the Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, efforts can be made to aid victimized children who need our help the most. Ratna Nidhi is able to offer a brighter future for orphaned children through means of providing education, comfort, and a place to call home.
